What is Visible In SG?
Visible In SG is a curated directory of Singapore-based professionals who are open to opportunities. Each person gets a single, personal page with their tagline, what they're looking for, and a link out to their LinkedIn — designed to be shared on a business card, in a deck, or in a quiet email.
How is it different from LinkedIn?
It's a personal page, not a feed. There's no algorithm deciding who sees you, no inMail credits, and no posts to maintain. You opt in explicitly to say you're open to work, and people contact you directly via your LinkedIn link.
Who can submit a profile?
Singapore-based professionals aged 18 or older. You don't need to be Singaporean — you just need to be based in or actively working in Singapore.
Is it free?
Yes. Listing your profile is free for now. Visible In SG is bootstrapped by On The Ground and there are no plans to charge professionals to be listed.
How long does review take?
We aim to review every submission within 24 hours. A human moderator reads your profile, checks the photo and LinkedIn link, and either approves it, requests an edit, or rejects with a short reason.
What gets a profile rejected?
Inaccurate information, a low-quality or unclear photo, a LinkedIn link that doesn't match the name, off-brand or promotional content, or anything that violates our Terms. We send a short reason so you can fix it and resubmit.
Can I edit my profile?
Yes. Visit /edit-request and we'll email a magic link to the address on your profile. The link lets you update your page directly. Edits may be re-reviewed before going live.
How do recruiters contact me?
Through the LinkedIn link on your profile, which every page is required to have. If you opt in to display an email address, recruiters can reach you there too. No messages are sent through Visible In SG.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), we don't sell or share data with third parties, and your information is stored in Neon's Singapore region. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Can I delete my profile?
Yes. Email admin@visiblein.sg from the address you used to submit, and we'll deactivate your profile within 30 days (usually within seven business days).
Do I need to be Singaporean?
No. You just need to be based in or actively working in Singapore. Permanent residents, employment-pass holders, and international professionals working from Singapore are all welcome.
Can I list "open to consulting only"?
Yes. The availability options are "Actively looking", "Open to offers", and "Consulting only" — pick the one that matches what you actually want. Plenty of people use the consulting-only option.
How do you make money?
We don't, yet. Visible In SG is currently bootstrapped by On The Ground as a civic project. It's free for users and there's no advertising on the site.
Why a QR code?
Each profile has its own QR code so you can share it offline — print it on a business card, slide it into the corner of a deck, or stick it on a conference badge. It points to your unique visiblein.sg URL.
Who's behind Visible In SG?
On The Ground (OTG), a Singapore-based studio that builds civic and AI products. Reviews and operations are handled by the OTG team. The format was inspired by Shaun Lee's /available page.
